Sad news on the Sandhill Crane colt front. One of the colts was attacked and killed by a mink on Monday. It is one month this week since they hatched.
Both colts had been doing so well and it would have been a pleasant change of pace given recent history to have two survive and grow up. All we can do now is hope the remaining colt fares better.
