As you have probably heard me mention previously, patience and perseverance are required for bird photography. Since the sun has returned I have been making regular trips out to Brunswick Point with the hope of getting the Prairie Falcon in better light. It finally paid off this afternoon.

After waiting a little over an hour the Prairie Falcon flew into the trees by the dyke. The closest I have seen it to the trail yet with an unobstructed view to boot. At last, a half decent photo of a rare visitor to this area.
