The sun made an appearance today and made for a pleasant afternoon to be out for a walk. It was back to Brunswick Point to see if I could get the Prairie Falcon in better light. While it did show up in the trees along the dyke, it was not in a good spot for photos. While spending time waiting and watching,
… another falcon showed up and caught my attention. This Peregrine Falcon was busy eating its prey.
The tree it landed in was close to the dyke,
… and after eating this Peregrine seemed quite content to just sit and digest awhile.
It was quite approachable at this point and allowed for some nice shots. Quality time like this with a Peregrine Falcon does not happen often.
