For some it is still nest building time.<\/p>\n

Here a Barn Swallow is gathering nesting material.<\/p>\n

Canada Goose<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

For others, new arrivals are here.<\/p>\n

\"Wood
Wood Duck<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

A little better luck today with getting a Wood Duck family together.<\/p>\n

\"Yellow-rumped
Yellow-rumped Warbler (Audubon's)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Yellow-rumped Warblers were busy hawking for insects from the trees.<\/p>\n

\"Rufous
Rufous Hummingbird<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

While watching and photographing the warblers,<\/p>\n

Rufous Hummingbird<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

… this Rufous Hummingbird stopped briefly on a branch before flying off.<\/p>\n

\"Red-winged
Red-winged Blackbird<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

And this Red-winged Blackbird paused momentarily in the cattails.<\/p>\n

There were also a few Orange-crowned Warblers around. I located and stuck with one to try and get a photo. Unlike the Yellow-rumped which would sit in the open, the Orange-crowned were foraging for insects amongst the branches of the trees.<\/p>\n
