While helping out at Reifel this afternoon the highlight was a Downy Woodpecker nest.
Both the male,
… and female Downy Woodpeckers were actively feeding young.
Black-headed Grosbeak
During several of my recent outings I have caught fleeting glimpses of and heard Black-headed Grosbeak, but not photos.
This afternoon my luck changed,
